Working with small family run artisan groups gives many individuals who may other wise struggle to feed their and send their children to school. Many women in these families are able to teach their neighbours and friends the craft and ways that they too can support their family. Reclaiming materials that would normally end up in a dump somewhere, help to reduce waste and give people an opportunity to support themselves.

How its Made

This Fair Trade Collection recycles bullhorn that has been discarded by local stockyards. Bullhorn is an ideal material for craftsmen, because it can be molded and sculpted into different shapes by applying heat and water. Bullhorn is also unique in its natural color variation. Each horn has a different combination of colors ranging from white to black, brown and gray tones in between.

“It is important to us that people’s rights are respected in the workplace. We partner with artisan co-ops and small workshops that are mindful of the materials that are used and re-used. This protects the planet from harmful waste and pollution."
